The dress code
Garden Chic
Pastels, florals and earth tones. Think an elegant garden party: flowing fabrics, soft colors, and shoes you can stand in on grass. Dressy, but comfortable enough to dance in.
Strictly no black or dark tones. White is reserved for the bride, a navy blue suit for the groom, and dusty blue for the bridal party.
For him
Semi-formal and up: a suit or a blazer is best, and a long-sleeve button-up is the least. No short sleeves.
The one exception to no black: black dress pants are fine (not a black jacket, suit or top).
For her
Floral prints and spring colors. Any of these fits right in.
